Essendon have made one confirmed change to their round 12 squad.
After spending five consecutive weeks in the side Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti will not suit up to face the Roos on Sunday.
McDonald-Tipungwuti will play VFL this weekend.
Dylan Shiel, Alwyn Davey Jnr., Andrew Phillips and Rhett Montgomerie are the inclusions to this week's extended bench.
Dylan Shiel will be looking to return to the side after being a late out last week against the West Coast Eagles.
Jake Kelly will return through the VFL following delayed concussion he suffered in Round Eight against Port Adelaide.
Forward Peter Wright wont play football this weekend despite training strongly this week.
