Dyson Heppell’s goal from the boundary early in the last quarter has earned a nomination for Goal of the Year.
The Essendon Captain was instrumental in the Club’s memorable round one win.
With the game in the balance, Heppell collected the ball in the forward pocket and calmly slotted the goal from a tight angle to give the Dons a 16 point buffer just 24 seconds into the last term.
