Essendon has been forced to make three changes to its round nine side against Brisbane.
Saturday night's clash at The Gabba will see the Bombers play without star midfielder Darcy Parish, who has been ruled out after suffering a calf injury at training on Thursday.
The Dons will also be without reliable defender Jake Kelly, who has entered concussion protocols after being diagnosed with delayed concussion from round eight's clash with Port Adelaide.
Last week's sub Jye Menzie retains his position in the team after replacing Jordan Ridley, who suffered concussion and will miss this week's clash with Brisbane.
Coming into the side will be Sam Durham after the young wingman served a one-week suspension for rough conduct, while key position defender Kaine Baldwin also comes in for his first game of the season after a solid period of VFL form.
