IN 2017 the AFLW hosted a one-off State of Origin game. Victoria against the Allies, made up of the competition's inaugural stars. Victoria took the win, led by Daisy Pearce and coached by Debbie Lee.
So, in a hypothetical world where AFLW State of Origin games still existed, what does your state's team look like?
We've already revealed Queensland, the Allies, South Australia and Western Australia, and today, take a look at the state of Victoria, splitting the pool into Country and Metro.
For classification purposes, we've followed the same lines as the Under-18 representative sides.
Vic Country is inclusive of the regions represented by Murray Bushrangers, GWV Rebels, Geelong Falcons, Bendigo Pioneers, Gippsland Power and Dandenong Stingrays (which includes areas from Narre Warren and Cranbourne down to the Mornington Peninsula).
Players fall into the Vic Metro camp if they hail from the areas covered by Calder Cannons (inclusive of Sunbury and Gisborne), Eastern Ranges, Northern Knights, Oakleigh Chargers, Sandringham Dragons and Western Jets.
Check back later this week for one last bonus representative team.
AFLW State of Origin: Queensland and the Allies
AFLW State of Origin: Western Australia and South Australia

HB: Libby Birch (Melb), Katie Lynch (WB), Gab Pound (Carl)
C: Monique Conti (Rich), Brianna Davey (Coll), Brit Bonnici (Coll)
HF: Kate Hore (Melb), Chloe Molloy (Coll), Karen Paxman (Melb)

I/C: Georgie Prespakis (Geel), Ellie Blackburn (WB), Alice Edmonds (WB), Izzy Huntington (GWS), Jaimee Lambert (Coll)
Depth: Eleanor Brown (WB), Mimi Hill (Carlton), Tilly Lucas-Rodd (Haw), Chantel Emonson (Geel), Charlie Rowbottom (GC), Ash Riddell (NM), Ellie McKenzie (Rich), Gabby Seymour (Rich), Kirsty Lamb (WB), Pepa Randall (GWS)
Arguably the strongest State of Origin team in terms of depth, the Metro line-up has a star-studded midfield, so much so the likes of Ash Riddell, Mimi Hill, Charlie Rowbottom and Ellie McKenzie don't make the cut.
Unsurprisingly, reigning premier Melbourne is well represented with players across every line, including three representatives in the forward line alone.
Maddy and Georgie Prespakis hail from the Gisborne/Sunbury region but played their representative footy with Vic Metro and Calder Cannons.
The injured Izzy Huntington may not have played much footy recently, but her talent when up and firing is undeniable.
Contrary to initial reports when she was signed, former netballer Bonnie Toogoodplayed her handful of pre-AFLW games at South Melbourne, not Mornington (as confirmed by the player herself).
Vic Country
B: Lauren Butler (Coll), Kerryn Peterson (Carl)
HB: Lucy McEvoy (Carl), Emma Kearney (NM), Jordyn Allen (Coll)
C: Nina Morrison (Geel), Amy McDonald (Geel), Kaitlyn Ashmore (Haw)
HF: Richelle Cranson (WB), Darcy Vescio (Carl), Georgia Gee (Ess)
F: Shelley Scott (Geel), Eden Zanker (Melb)
Foll: Breann Moody (WB), Tyla Hanks (Melb), Liv Purcell (Melb)
I/C: Shelley Heath (Melb), Lily Mithen (Melb), Jenna Bruton (NM), Grace Egan (Rich), Hannah Priest (StK)
Depth: Bianca Jakobsson (StK), Becky Webster (Geel), Celine Moody (WB), Kate Darby (Geel), Jas Ferguson (NM), Claudia Whitfort (GC), Casey Sherriff (Melb), Annabel Johnson (Geel)
The Moody twins qualify for Country on the base of their previous teams, with Breann Moody having played for Cranbourne (which falls under Dandenong Stingrays' zone) prior to AFLW, and Celine Moody playing school footy in Berwick.
It makes sense that the only non-metro Victorian club, Geelong, features heavily, with a number of past (Liv Purcell, Richelle Cranston, and Lily Mithen and Lucy McEvoy - both VFLW only) and present players from the coastal region.
Players who didn't come through the current under-18 talent pathway include Kerryn Peterson (hails from Bendigo), Emma Kearney (Hamilton), Kaitlyn Ashmore(Ballarat), Shelley Scott (Colac), and Darcy Vescio (Wangaratta).
St Kilda skipper Hannah Priest was drafted from SANFLW side Norwood, but grew up in Mildura.
