Sunday 25th April, 2004 will mark the 10th Anniversary of the now famous Essendon v Collingwood Anzac Day clashes at the MCG. The fans turn out in droves, with numbers always around the 80 – 90,000 mark. The Anzac Day clash is now one of the highlights of the football calendar.

On Wednesday 21st April the Dick Reynolds Club will be holding a very special luncheon at the Crown Palladium Ballroom.

This ""Special Dick Reynolds Club Event"" will be held in conjunction with the Collingwood Football Club, and will celebrate the 10th occasion these two famous clubs have played on Anzac Day.

This once-off departure from the usual Dick Reynolds Club luncheon venue is for one reason only. The numbers expected when these two great clubs get together means a larger than usual venue is necessary.

Both clubs will be represented by their Chairman, Neil McKissock and President Eddie McGuire, coaches Kevin Sheedy and Mick Malthouse and both captains, James Hird and Nathan Buckley.

Master of Ceremonies, Tim Watson, will interview Sheedy, Malthouse and other famous guests, and both coaches will announce their ""Best Team"" from the past nine Anzac Day matches.

It is worth remembering that the record between these two proud clubs in Anzac Day clashes stands at four wins apiece with one match drawn.

It is a rare occasion that these two famous antagonists get together off-the-field, which makes this a ""once only"" luncheon. The guest list will be quite staggering.

All members, their guests, business people and supporters are invited to attend and are urged to book early to avoid disappointment.
