Madison Prespakis has been selected in the 2022 Season Seven AFLW All Australian Team, for the third time in her career.

The team was presented at the W Awards at Crown Palladium tonight, alongside the AFLW best and fairest player and NAB AFLW Rising Star.

Prespakis was selected half-forward in the team, recognition for her outstanding first year at the Bombers.

A key cog in the Bombers’ attack, Prespakis played all 10 games in season seven, averaging 24 disposals, 12 kicks, 12 handballs and hitting the scoreboard six times.

Prespakis, the 2020 AFLW best and fairest player, was also named in the 2019 and 2020 All Australian teams.

Head of AFLW Aysha Ward congratulated Prespakis on the honour.

“Maddy has had an excellent season and the All-Australian selection is recognition for all her hard work and dedication,” Ward said.

“She’s an excellent role model for her younger teammates, with her work ethic, determination to improve and commitment to the club."

“At only 22, Maddy has a lot of football ahead her and we look forward to seeing her continue to grow as a player and person over the coming years.”

The club would also like to recognise Bonnie Toogood, for her selection in the initial 42-person All Australian squad, and Paige Scott and Steph Wales for their NAB AFLW Rising Star nominations.
