Carlisle was charged with a striking offence against Lance Franklin during the first quarter of Friday night’s loss to Hawthorn.
The incident was assessed as intentional, low impact and body contact.
The initial penalty was a one-match suspension, but Carlisle will escape with a reprimand after an early guilty plea.
Melksham has been cited for engaging in rough conduct against Hawthorn's Jarryd Roughead.
The contact occurred when Roughead was trying to apply a shepherd to Melksham and the Bomber braced himself for contact but it slipped high.

Nick Kommer was charged with a first offence for abusive language towards an umpire and will accept a $1950 fine with an early guilty plea.
