Kyle Langford has been recalled to the Essendon side for its match against North Melbourne tomorrow night.
Alex Browne was left out after he suffered a head knock during the game against Melbourne.
Langford has played two games this season, the last of which was against the Kangaroos in round seven.
Essendon Coach James Hird said getting games in to the 18 year old would prove valuable.
“I think he’ll turn into a half-forward, or a high forward, also some sort of midfielder as well – maybe on the wing,” he said.
“He can run. He can win the contested footy.
“He’s obviously a smaller body now but we’re very keen to play him as much as we can, get him experience and get him ready for senior football.”
Langford has been averaging 12 possessions, four tackles and four marks in his eight VFL games this season.
