Brilliant Essendon forward Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti has been nominated for the Coates Hire Goal of the Year for his cracking goal in the second term against West Coast on Thursday.

McDonald-Tipungwuti cleanly gathered the ball out of a ruck contest deep into the Bombers’ forward line before bursting through the pack, staying on his feet and skilfully snapping truly from a tight angle at Optus Stadium.
