Essendon Football Club is pleased to consolidate their endorsement of the Bully Zero Australia Foundation with the appointment of Bombers defender Cale Hooker as an ambassador. 

The Bully Zero Australia Foundation was established by Cr Oscar Yildiz – Mayor of Moreland City Council – in early 2012. Following discussions with various parties who had a joint passion for the prevention of bullying, Yildiz now CEO established the foundation that stood for proactive change. His vision established an organisation that aims to protect and empower Australian’s to live a fulfilling life free from all forms of bullying.

Essendon Community Manager Cameron Britt said the club endorsed the positive work the Bully Zero Australia Foundation was implementing.

“The club has been a strong advocate for student welfare for a number of years, and our new partnership with the Bully Zero Australia Foundation further strengthens the commitment Essendon has to the wider community,” Britt said.

“We believe in creating positive change for the wider community and Bully Zero Australia aims to do so, particularly in young children in Melbourne’s North-West”

Bully Zero Australia Foundation Founder and CEO Oscar Yildiz said he was proud to partner with the Essendon Football Club to raise awareness and create a safer nation for every generation.

“Essendon Football Club have been extremely accommodating and supportive of the Foundation’s initiatives and programs,” Yildiz said.

“We are grateful for their advocacy and commitment to stand up for a bully free Australia. We look forward to continuing the fantastic partnership and thank champion defender Cale Hooker for taking on a leadership role in becoming a Bully Zero ambassador."
