Essendon has marked its 150-year anniversary in magical fashion at its 150-Year Gala Dinner at Centrepiece, Melbourne Park on Saturday night.
Presented by Fujitsu and supported by Liberty Financial, the event featured the single-most amount of Essendon people - including past players and staff - in the one room to celebrate a special anniversary for the most successful club in VFL/AFL history.

Hosted by MCs Tim Watson and Sarah Jones, guests were treated to a premium three-course meal and beverages, hearing from the likes of club greats Michael Long, Paul Salmon, Joe Misiti, Dean Solomon, Ron Andrews, Ken Fraser, Graham Moss and more.
Following fan voting over a month, the club's greatest ever moment was also revealed, with the back-to-back premiership triumphs in 1984 and '85 taking the No.1 mantle.
The night culminated in a surprise elevation for the great Kevin Sheedy, who became the first person in club history to be named an Immortal of the Essendon Football Club.
