Marvel Stadium is currently undergoing upgrade works, some of which will continue into and during the 2022 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

Works have commenced and will be undertaken in stages to ensure games will continue throughout the redevelopment, and appropriate processes will be in place to minimise any inconvenience to fans and members.

Access around the concourse of the stadium remains, and all gate entries will continue to operate throughout the 2022 season, however the entry experience at Gate 5 may look different. It is recommended to arrive to games a little earlier than usual to ensure all fans and members are in their seats prior to the first bounce.

The club is currently identifying new suitable locations for membership and merchandise outlets to serve members and fans on game day. Further information will be advised once confirmed.

Fans will also notice a vastly improved experience once inside the stadium: new scoreboards, lighting and technology upgrades including state-of-the-art Wi-Fi, and a broader range and higher quality of food and beverage offerings that can be enjoyed before, during and after games. Club corporate hospitality areas are also receiving an overhaul, ready for use in the 2023 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

As a result of these improvements inside the stadium, a small amount of seating will also be affected, some temporarily and some permanently. Affected members have already been notified individually in late 2021 and early 2022.

Access to member rooms will also be impacted for the 2022 season. While the Quill Room will unfortunately be unavailable for use by High Mark members, pleasingly they will be provided access to the bar and facilities available in the Danvers Room on Level 2.

All members at each Marvel home game will also have access to the Victory Room (Level 1, Aisles 15-18) for the season. As the club celebrates its 150-year anniversary, this space will provide an additional bar and food offering, as well as a place to mingle with like-minded Bombers members before, during and after games.
