Essendon fans have the chance to win $1000 off their electricity bill thanks to the Red Energy Sprint.

To be in the running, simply watch this online video and tell us which of six of Essendon’s fastest players will win the Red Energy Sprint over 50m. Adam McPhee, Kyle Reimers, Leroy Jetta, Angus Monfries, Andrew Lovett and Brent Stanton are all contenders in the footrace, you just have to tell us who came first.

Six lucky website entrants will then be randomly drawn and be given the opportunity to participate in their own Red Energy Sprint on the hallowed turf of the Dome. The six contestants will need to bounce red gym balls from the goal line to the 50m mark and the first over the finishing line will receive $1000 off their electricity bill.

The six contestants in the Red Energy Sprint at the Dome will each receive two tickets to the Round 20 - Essendon v Adelaide match and an EFC guernsey.

To enter, simply email redenergysprint@essendonfc.com.au and tell us which player you think won the Red Energy Sprint along with your name, address, email, phone, date of birth and guernsey size.

One lucky website entrant will also receive a prize of $500 worth of free electricity inclusive GST.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Participants must be over 18 years of age.

Entry for the Red Energy Sprint closes at 9am on Wednesday 13th August 2008. Winners will be notified on Wednesday 13th August.

The competition is not limited to Victorian based entries, however travel and accommodation must be provided at the entrants own expense. It is the responsibility of the six contestants to arrive at the game, ready for the race, one hour prior to the game commencing.

There are total of two prizes. The website winner will receive a prize of $500 worth of free electricity inclusive GST and the race winner on the race day 16th August 2008 will win $ 1000 worth free electricity inclusive GST.

To redeem the prize of free electricity (credit) the winner(s) must be a Victoria or South Australian resident and have a residential electricity account with Red Energy by 16/09/2008.

The credit will appear on the winner’s first bill from Red Energy after the prize draw.

No prize draw is redeemable for cash and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to take or use the prize as stated. The winner cannot transfer or nominate the prize amount to third party.

In the event that a prize winner’s agreement with Red Energy ends and the account is in credit at the time of producing the final bill as a result of the prize credit, the winner will not be entitled to any refund which relates to such credit.

If the winner does not transfer their electricity to Red Energy they will be ineligible for the prize credit.
