The first Mosquito Fleet Clinic of 2009 supported by Samsung was held at Windy Hill this week and more than 400 young fans took the opportunity to get close to their favourite players.

 

The day was filled with 10 activities which the players ran and included new activities with tours through the Hall of Fame, Players Gym and Auditorium.

 

The final 30 minutes was dedicated to autograph signing, with Matthew Lloyd once again proving a crowd favourite.

 

 

""The Mosquito Fleet Clinics are held specifically for our MF members, and the first clinic of 2009 was a great success. It was a day that was run purely by players, staff and volunteers and was thoroughly enjoyed by all,"" Membership manager, Melissa Chan, said.

 

""The age groups varied from two to 14 years of age, and the activities were tailored by the players to suit these age groups. The children enjoyed the interaction with the players and staff, and found the new activities - the tours throughout the club - very exciting.

 

""Our junior members are a significant membership category, and we want to ensure they enjoy themselves and leave with a memorable experience at every membership event.

The next clinic will be held on 6^th July 2009 for the Mosquito Fleet members who were unable to attend the April Clinic.
