Essendon Football Club is pleased to confirm the official guernsey numbers for the 2015 season.
After his first season in the red and black, Zach Merrett will move to the No.7, previously vacated by Leroy Jetta, while fellow young gun Patrick Ambrose will take on the No.29 guernsey.
New recruit Adam Cooney will don the club’s famous No.13 once worn by Essendon legend Michael Long, while Jonathon Giles and James Gwilt will wear No.27 and No.42 respectively.
The club’s recent draftees have also been allocated their new playing numbers: Kyle Langford (No.30), Jayden Laverde (No.33), Jake Long (No.34), Shaun McKernan (No.44) and Conor McKenna (No.45)
