Forward Harrison Jones will miss the Bombers’ round 18 match against North Melbourne with a foot injury.

Jones reported soreness after training with the team on Friday, with initial scans today showing a stress reaction in his right foot.

General manager of football Josh Mahoney said a conservative approach would be taken with the 20-year-old.

“It’s important with these types of injuries that we take a very conservative approach,” Mahoney said.

“We believe we have got on top of this early, but it will require further investigation and another scan to determine the full extent of the injury.”

Jones has been withdrawn from the side and replaced by Brayden Ham.
