Young Essendon key forward Harrison Jones has received a round 15 nomination for the rebel AFL Goal of the Year.
Fresh off a round 14 NAB AFL Rising Star nomination, Jones threw himself into contention for another award with a superb quick-thinking goal line kick.
With the ball destined to cross for a behind, Jones, in a single motion, grabbed the ball with one hand and slammed it onto his boot in a flash to create a goal out of nothing.
Jones has been nominated alongside Western Bulldogs midfielder Marcus Bontempelli and Carlton defender Adam Saad, but needs your vote to become one of the round 15 winners and remain in contention for the overall prize.
Voting closes at 10am AEST on Thursday, June 30, with those who vote going into the running to win the major prize valued at $5000 thanks to rebel.
