Essendon will take on Frankston this Sunday in what is a must win game if the Bombers want to keep their finals hopes alive.

The Bombers sit in eighth position even after last week's loss to Port Melbourne.

However, with the competition heating up, the Bombers will have to get over Frankston in enemy territory this Sunday.

Jason Ashby will return to the side after a two-week stint with the seniors, while the exciting Nash Holmes will also return as the 23rd man.

Essendon's newest recruit, Justin Van Unen, is also set to line-up for his first game in the red and black.

Fans who are unable to attend will be able to tune in and listen to VFL Radio from 1:55pm. Stay across the website for more details.
