Bombers esports has re-signed head coach Scott 'Westonway' Farmer as part of its League of Legends line-up for the 2019 season.
Farmer joined the Bombers organisation at the start of 2018 and played a key role in the development of the roster and the team's first finals berth.
His focus will be to bring structure to the team's in-game strategy and practice environment in the quest to lead the club to its first OPL title.
“I’m extremely excited to be on board with the Bombers again for 2019," Farmer said.
"With such a talented roster and the resources available from the club, there has never been a better chance for our team to win the OPL. I will be looking to go all-out this year and bring home our first OPL trophy."
Essendon's Head of Esports Nathan Mathews said he was delighted to secure Farmer's services for another season.
“Last year had a lot of learning experiences for the management, players and coaching staff," Mathews said.
"Scott showed significant improvement between Split 1 and Split 2 of this year and I could not be more excited to have him re-sign for 2019. His commitment, passion and structured coaching style will play a big part in the team's performance in 2019."
