Former Essendon player Steven Clark has passed away after a long battle with illness. Clarke, 43, played 53 games for Essendon between 1985 and 1989 and kicked 73 goals in that time. A rover recruited from Strathmore, Clark went on to play another 21 games with Melbourne and six with St Kilda. The club passes on its sincerest condolences to family and friends.
