Bendigo has lost their third straight gamein the VFL going down to Geelong at Simmonds Stadium by 67-points.

Geelong were too strong around the packsand the stoppages, making the most of their opportunities to continue theirrecent good form with another win.

Essendon defender Tayte Pears is sure to bein contention for senior selection with another best on ground performanceacross half-back.

Pears has now played four games back in theVFL since returning from injury with James Hird saying he wanted to give himone more week at VFL level before considering the defender for a senior recall.

In further good news for Essendon,midfielder Sam Lonergan played his best game for some weeks winning plenty ofcontested ball around the contests and providing important work in and underthe packs.
