Australian legend and former Bomber Neale Daniher has been named the 2019 Victorian of the Year.

The award, given to Daniher at Monday’s Victoria Day celebrations, is worthy recognition of his remarkable work fighting for effective treatment and a cure for Motor Neurone Disease since being diagnosed with the disease in 2013.

Since co-founding FightMND in 2014, Daniher has helped raise millions of dollars to fight ‘The Beast’ including more than $5 million in last month’s Big Freeze 5 event.
