Essendon Football Club has welcomed newly appointed Kia Motors Australia President and Chief Executive Officer Sang-Hyun Cho and Chief Operating Officer Damien Meredith to the club.

Essendon Chief Operating Officer Xavier Campbell and newly appointed General Manager of Commercial Operations Brenton Humphreys met the pair on Thursday afternoon to present them with personalised Essendon jumpers.

Campbell thanked Kia for their ongoing support as a co-major partner of the club.

“It was great to be able to meet with Mr Cho and Damien this afternoon to welcome them on board with the club.”

“We have a very good relationship with Kia as our co-major partner over the last three years and look forward to continuing to work closely with them over the next few seasons.”

Mr Cho said he looked forward to continuing Kia’s strong relationship with the Essendon Football Club.

“Essendon, like Kia, is a strong and aspirational organisation with a deep connection to their fans,” Mr Cho said. 

“Our relationship is one built on trust and we are confident of what the future will bring.”
