Lonergan set to return for Bendigo
The Bendigo Bombers look set to welcome back key midfielder Sam Lonergan from injury, after the 24-year old was sidelined earlier in the year following a significant tear to his medial ligament. Lonergan, who initially looked set to miss the remainder of the season, has made an incredible recovery from the grade three tear and will make an ahead-of-schedule return to football.

The Bombers have named an initial 30-man squad to take on the Coburg Tigers at the Queen Elizabeth Oval on Saturday. The side will be looking for redemption after recording a disappointing 79-point loss to North Ballarat last weekend.
Essendon listed Scott Gumbleton, Michael Ross and Alex Browne have also been named in the Bendigo side in the final game of the VFL season.
