General Manager Football Operations Paul Hamilton said the pair are important inclusions ahead of the all important clash with the Cats.

“They are two valuable forwards coming back into the side and we are going to need it against Geelong,” Hamilton said.

“Angus should return as long as he gets through the week of training this week and he will be keen to get out there and impress.

“A little bit of a freshen up won’t have hurt Stewart and we are looking forward to having his presence as we know what a valuable player he has been for us.”

Hamilton confirmed defender Michael Hibberd would miss this weekend’s match with a quad injury sustained against Port Adelaide.

“He will miss this week with what is a very minor quad,” he said.

“It is right at the lower end but nonetheless it is there and he won’t play this week.”

Forward Kyle Reimers is still a chance to take on Geelong this weekend despite a hamstring concern.

“He certainly had a cramp and bit of tightness in his hamstring so we will assess him as the week goes on,” Hamilton said.

“It is once again very much at the lower end of the scale. It is certainly not a tear but it is one we have to monitor and he is in some doubt for this week.”

Key forward Michael Hurley and reigning best and fairest winner David Zaharakis are continuing to progress well in their rehabilitation programs.
