Essendon supporters in Queensland have the opportunity to get up close and personnel with new coach Matthew Knights and senior players at a special function being held at the Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club on Tuesday, February 5.
The function is being staged by the Essendon Football Club Queensland affiliate the Redland Bombers. The function includes a buffet dinner and drinks and will also feature the presentation of two debut guernseys to Essendon past players.
This is not to be missed if you are an Essendon fan living in Queensland. The night costs just $65 per person and tickets can be obtained at the Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club at 325 Colburn Avenue, Victoria Point. Alternatively you can call the Club on (07)32077865. Bookings are essential.
Young Bomber Jay Neagle is just one week away from resuming full training following an operation to repair stress fractures in his ankle. Neagle was operated on in late October and has been in rehabilitation for the past 10 weeks.
