This black tie event is being held this Saturday, May 29th at the Palladium Ballroom, Crown. The Ball is a night of music and entertainment acts, providing an opportunity for guests to dance and mingle after enjoying a fabulous three-course dinner with fine wines.
The main auction is an entertainment feature of the evening. There is some great items up for grabs including ‘Be a Bomber’ at the Round 17, St Kilda v Essendon match on Friday, July 23rd.
Be a Bomber
This is not a not a job for the faint-hearted. When you experience a day with the Bombers you will feel the tension, smell the change-rooms, see all the action, hear from the coaches and (all going well) taste sweet success.
The day begins at Windy Hill with property manager, Ady Schwegler, and you journey to the ground in the property truck. Your role will involve presenting the players with their jumpers as they arrive at the stadium, assisting in the players’ warm-up and holding the on-ground windbreak during the minor changes. Post-match, you’ll witness the press conference as coaches and officials face the weekly media grilling. At the end of the day, walk away with your own authentic coaches’ jacket – not usually for public sale. A unique and rewarding experience.
