Darcy Daniher was a shining light in Bendigo’s 70-point loss to Sandringham in the VFL this weekend, kicking four goals in a game that provided few highlights for the Bendigo Bombers.
Daniher has been one of the best performed youngsters in the first five rounds of the VFL and the game against Sandy was no exception giving hope to Essendon fans keen to see him develop into a key forward in the seniors.
Bendigo went down to Sandy 24.15.159 to 13.11.89 with a ten goal to two first quarter from Sandy setting up the win and making it difficult for the Bombers to ever get back in the match.
Danny Chartres and Hayden Skipworth were also among the best players for Bendigo.
A full match report will be available tomorrow.
