Essendon players took some time on the second day of their recent Community Camp to the Goldfields region to provide one young Castlemaine resident with the opportunity of a lifetime.

Six year old Sam Kennedy won a competition through the local paper, the Castlemaine Mail, giving him the chance to mingle with his favourite football stars.
The young Bombers fan had breakfast with the players before heading out on the oval at Castlemaine Football and Netball Club for a kick of the footy.
As part of the experience Essendon duo Angus Monfries and Stewart Crameri gave Sam some private coaching on how to best improve his skills.
