Over 1500 people were on hand to see the Wadeye Bombers claim their first NTFL Premiership after defeating the Demons by 52 points in a keenly contested match.

Entertainment on the day included a rock band who created a vibrant atmosphere as they belted out a few numbers on top of the back of a parked semi-trailer. A juniors game was also held at the beginning of the day, with juniors from both top and bottom camps participating.

The curtain raiser to the main grand final showed off the two newest members of the Wadeye Football League - the Hawks and the Dockers. These two teams will come into the league at the start of the new football season. The Dockers beat the Hawks by 12 points, kicking 6.10 (46) to 5.4 (34).
