Essendon's end-of-season exhibition match in London is in doubt as a result of recent events in New York and Washington. Essendon was to clash with Richmond at The Oval in London on October 13th. However recent terrorist attacks in the United States have thrown doubt over the trip. Essendon and Richmond officials will meet with the AFL tomorrow morning to discuss whether the match should go ahead. ""If there are any safety concerns at all I doubt we would go ahead with it. We will work through those issues tomorrow and make a decision,"" Essendon chief executive Peter Jackson said.
The Essendon players were to head on their end-of-season trip following the exhibition match.
