VFL-listed Bomber Jack Langford is set to continue his ‘swingman’ role after shifting to defence last weekend against Footscray.
Predominately known as a forward, the 22-year-old played a valuable key defensive-post role on Tom Boyd last weekend, limiting the former number-one draft pick to three goals.
“We will probably see Jack in a number of roles – he’s quite versatile for us,” Corrigan said.
“He’s been playing a bit forward and also down back,”
Langford made an immediate impact when he broke into the side this season, booting three goals against the Tigers in Round seven.
Playing all but two games since, Langford has become an important cog to the side’s success.
“He might play both forward and back but it depends on where we need him and where Werribee line up,” Corrigan said.
