The Bombers good run at tribunal hearings this week has continued with ruckman Steven Alessio cleared of a striking charge by the VFL tribunal tonight. The tribunal found the charge could not be sustained with video evidence of the incident inconclusive. Alessio's defence was strengthened by the appearance of James Podsiadly - a former Essendon rookie now playing for Werribee. He was five metres from the alleged incident and testified Alessio had not struck his teammate.
