""Bolton received the ball after it was released by Lucas off the half-back flank. Bolton streamed through the centre like a stallion with five minutes remaining.

The Bombers are desperate for a goal and Bolton kicks to danger man Hird! Hird gather magnificently, side steps his opponent Darren Milburn and from the pocket……don’t tell me! What a goal by the golden boy! Hird kicks one of the goals of the season to give the Bombers a hope – what a star!""

Essendon Football Club would like to thank the 2004 Bomber Radio sponsors - Rendina Real Estate, Schiavello Office Furniture, The Brass Tavern, Cisco’s Coffee, Trendz Car Wash Café, Delta Europcar and the Windy Hill Social Club.
