Darcy Daniher played just three games in 2009 - the same figure as 2008 - but he produced better efforts that gave supporters hope he will be a player of the future.
However, despite the better numbers, the 20-year-old's fan rating dropped to 3.8/10 in 2009, down from 4/10 in 2008 with fans disappointed he didn't improve as quickly as hoped at AFL level.
Daniher showed promising signs playing for Bendigo in the forward line and could be played more in attack for the Bombers in 2010.

Despite playing more games than ever before in his three seasons, small forward Alywn Davey recorded the worst report card result of his career.
Fans loved his defensive pressure but want more goals and gave him 5.42/10, down from 5.74 in 2008.
Davey was returning from a serious knee injury in 2009 and is expected to be better placed physically this season.
It seems that every year we hear people say that players are getting bigger, stronger, faster and fitter so we have looked back at Essendon’s premiership players through the years to see just how our players have changed in the last 100 years. Very few height and weight records exist for the 1897 and 1901 premiership seasons however from 1911 onwards, where almost all records are complete, we have heights and weights for all premiership players.
