Lady luck evaded giant Tasmanian ruckman Jason Laycock all year and he failed to add to his 58 game tally in 2009 due to a serious foot injury.
His fan rating dropped to just 2.16/10 in 2009, down from 3.89/10 in 2008 as supporters showed their disappointment. The ruckman faces an important 2010 and is in the last year of his contract.

Darcy Daniher played just three games in 2009 - the same figure as 2008 - but he produced better efforts that gave supporters hope he will be a player of the future.
However, despite the better numbers, the 20-year-old's fan rating dropped to 3.8/10 in 2009, down from 4/10 in 2008 with fans disappointed he didn't improve as quickly as hoped at AFL level.
Daniher showed promising signs playing for Bendigo in the forward line and could be played more in attack for the Bombers in 2010.
