Kevin Sheedy and his part-ownership of horse racing sensation Bel Esprit has stolen many headlines in recent weeks. But tonight, it might just be development coach Kevin Morris who grabs a headline for himself. Morris is the breeder and owner of classy trotter Djerriwarrh and the five-year-old gelding lines up in tonight's $200,000 Trotters Inter Dominion Final at Harold Park. Djerriwarrh ran an unlucky fourth in the first heat of the championshsips and finished a game second after sitting in the death last weekend - on form it goes into the race with a genuine each way chance.

""The back marker (La Coocaracha) is a very good trotter. But she is off 25 metres and things don't always go right when you have the whole field to get around,"" Morris said. ""We have drawn the pole and if we can position in behind the leading couple and there is some speed on he will get home hard if the run comes at the right time.""

So Bomber fans should tune into the trotters final at 9.00pm and get behind the horse with the Essendon connection. It can run into a place and at 20/1 might well be worth a small investment. In case you are wondering, Djerriwarrh is named after a resevoir next to Morris' Toolern Vale property west of Melbourne.
