New Bomber, Brent Prismall, today visited Windy Hill to check out his new home and speak to media.

“It’s a good feeling (to be at Essendon) but it hasn’t sunk in yet - I am sure it will sink in over the next few weeks and I am looking forward to getting to the club and doing my rehabilitation,” he said.

“Essendon showed a lot of interest in me, they are very professional and have a good young list coming through and I want to be part of that.”

Prismall said that the operation on his injured right knee (torn ACL) went well and he has been off crutches for the past week.

He is expected to be available to play in the first half of the 2009 season.

“It’s only a month since the operation and I spoke to the surgeon a couple of weeks ago and he said it’s going well and everything is on track but I meet him in a couples of week and will get more news then,” he said.

“I am going to be patient and get it right and come back and play good football.”

The 22-year-old has never played a game against Essendon but is looking forward to playing alongside people like Matthew Lloyd and Mark McVeigh.

“Essendon has a good set of young guys and working with players like Watson and Hille will be good,” he said.

Essendon traded pick 39 to Geelong for Prismall who has signed a three-year deal with the club.
