Essendon Football Club are pleased to announce a new partnership with leading home builder Metricon that will see them become the new coach partner for the 2009 season.

The deal will see the Metricon name emblazoned on the front and collar of Matthew Knights’ shirt, plus signage across the coaches’ box at all home and away games for the 2009 season.

Essendon Coach Matthew Knights was excited by the opportunity to work with such a respected and trusted company in Metricon.

“Metricon has an excellent reputation in Victoria for its quality, innovative designs and impeccable customer service,” Knights said. 

“We are excited to be associated with a premier company such as Metricon and hope the partnership will be rewarding for both organisations.”

Metricon’s General Manager of Marketing, Darren Mehl, said that the agreement is another great reflection of Metricon’s on-going commitment to meaningful community involvement.

“We have been building dream homes since we commenced operations over 30 years ago and have established solid and lasting relationships within the communities where the Bombers play,” Mehl said.
