In a huge boost for the Bombers, star full forward Matthew Lloyd has been cleared to play against the West Coast Eagles at The Dome this Saturday night. Lloyd's two-match suspension was over-turned at this morning's Appeal's Board hearing.
The Appeal's Board accepted that contact between Lloyd and St Kilda' Nick Del Santo had been made as a consequence of him trying to get his arms free of a tackle so he could execute a handball.
""I'm rapt to be playing and really happy with the decsion,"" Lloyd said after the hearing. ""We have got a lot of players out injured at the moment and you don't want to have players sidelined when they are fit.""
