Channel Seven went behind the scenes with Bombers coach, Matthew Knights last week to show what really goes on in the inner-sanctum at Windy Hill.
Seven’s telecast included footage of Knights directing the playing group at training, a team selection meeting, and the visit of Federal Opposition Leader Tony Abbott.

The behind-the-scenes footage includes an interview by Matthew Richardson who asked the coach about his team's form in the month leading up to the clash against the Saints.

“The last four weeks have been challenging. There are times when you just have to make sure that you’re there for your players and the most important part is for me to be enthusiastic,” Knights said.

Richardson asked Knights about his experiences as a coach and a player and also what the win over the Kangaroos in Round 17 meant to him and to the playing group.

“There was a flow of emotion that was connected to how hard we had stuck together and how hard we’d worked over the three week period. When you get a reward, albiet a close win, it’s just great,” he said.
