Essendon Football Club has recovered some of the computer and video equipment recently stolen from its football department. The club made some enquiries after receiving information in relation to last week's theft and a phone call followed soon after to say that some of the stolen equipment had been dumped at the back of the cricket changerooms at Windy Hill. ""There were two bags of equipment found and while we are pleased to get some of the stolen goods back, the more valuable equipment is still to be located,"" Essendon chief exectuive Peter Jackson said.

""However, based on information we already have, we expect to recover more of the stolen property. We are working closely with police and we should have it back with us in the near future."" A total of $40,000 worth of materials was taken from the Essendon Football Club football department last week.
