""It was a dream come true really,"" he said today.
""I was nervous walking out to kick but I wasn't nervous when I was taking the kick.
""It (the 50m attempt) looked good as soon as I kicked it and I was just hoping for a lucky bounce.
""From what I remember, it landed in the goal square and bounced on through which was great.""
What made the feat even more impressive was the fact he kicked the goal wearing sneakers.
""I actually don't have any footy boots so I went with the sneakers,"" he said.
""I will probably use the money to pay off the car and be responsible and save some for a house deposit.""
