Essendon general manager of football operations Paul Hamilton tonight confirmed the Club had met with former Port Adelaide coach Mark Williams today.
“We knew Mark was in Melbourne today so Matthew (Knights) and I took the opportunity to catch up and see where he was at in terms of his career,” Hamilton said.
“We obviously have coaching positions available for next season following the resignations of Ashley Prescott and Scott Camporeale, and we will explore a number of options over the coming weeks to ensure we fill those positions with the best possible candidates.”
