600 career goals – Brendan Fevola. Brendan has kicked 596 career goals for Carlton and the Brisbane Lions, since his debut in 1999. He needs four more goals to become the 27th player in the history of the game to reach 600 goals.

Most Wins Coached – Michael Malthouse. Michael has coached a total of 349 career wins since his debut as a league coach in 1984, comprising 67 wins with Footscray, 156 wins with West Coast and 126 wins with Collingwood. His next victory will see him become the fourth coach in the history of the game to reach 350 victories, joining Jock McHale (467 wins with Collingwood between 1912-49), Kevin Sheedy (386 wins with Essendon between 1981-2007) and Allan Jeans (358 wins with St Kilda, Hawthorn and Richmond between 1961-76, 1981-87, 1989-90 and 1992).

FIELD OF WOMEN MATCH, ROUND SEVEN, MAY 7

The AFL wishes to remind all media that registrations are now open for the Round 7 Field of Women match between Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs, to be played at the MCG this Friday May 7. As part of the recognition for Breast Cancer Awareness, the umpires for this Friday’s game will wear pink uniforms, while the goal umpires will use pink flags.

Fremantle – Returned Scott Thornton to the senior list, from the long-term injury list, and downgraded Clancee Pearce from the senior list back to the rookie list.
