The AFL today advised that five players had been charged with engaging in a melee in the wake of last Sunday's clash between Essendon and the Kangaroos.
Essendon players Damien Hardwick, Joe Misiti and Dean Solomon were all charged with engaging in a melee during the third quarter.
For the Kangaroos, Wayne Carey and Glenn Archer will face similar charges. The tribunal will hear all charges tonight.
Damien Hardwick will also face a wrestling charge tonight.
