The Bombers are set to travel to the Goldfields next week, when the club embarks on the two-day 2012 Australia Post Community Camp.

As part of the two-day camp, which runs from February 6-7, Essendon will visit Maryborough, Kyneton and Castlemaine – hosting football clinics for locals, as well as visiting a number of schools and hospitals in the region.

The Bombers will be officially welcomed at a civic reception at the Maryborough Community Hub on Monday 6 February and will then visit a number of schools and hospitals throughout the wider area.

Fans will also have an opportunity to secure autographs when Essendon players host a NAB AFL superclinic in Maryborough at Princes Park that afternoon.

Coach James Hird and captain Jobe Watson will be the keynote speakers at the Cancer Council Victoria Fundraising dinner on Monday night, held at the Maryborough Highland Society. A number of Essendon players will also be in attendance. Tickets are selling fast - to book call 5461 1480.
