The new BomberLand site has landed. BomberLand – the official website of the Essendon Football Club and the number one club website in the AFL – was re-launched today. The new state-of-the-art website gives users more information, more entertainment and greater involvement with Australia’s most successful AFL club.

BomberLand has gone from strength to strength in the past three years. Just two weeks ago it attracted 106,000 page impressions in one day – a record for the site. It saw the website attract 25% of the total AFL market that day. And since November 1st, 2002 the site has also turned over in excess of $750,000 in membership and merchandise sales.

The new essendonfc.com.au website has a great new layout and retains its easy navigational structure. The new site features:

Match Vision – Highlight packages and the best quarter of the week.
Match Centre – everything you need to preview and review the weekend’s game, including James Hird’s weekly match preview.
Match Day Mailbox- have your say straight after the game.
News Stories – two news stories will now appear on the front page.
What’s Hot – your daily website guide telling you what’s new on the site.
New competitions – Fantasy Football, Lunchtime Legends, Crystal Ball and Name That Bomber.
My Shout - We’ll tell you what we reckon in our new opinion column.
More feature stories – What makes the stars tick?
Bombers Unplugged – Three behind-the-scenes documentaries during 2003.

All this plus our regular columns from assistant coach Robert Shaw and star full forward Matthew Lloyd. There will be Essendon’s unique footy tipping competition – Give Us The Tip, a new Fan’s Diary, all the news as it breaks, player profiles, statistics and much more.

The real Essendon website keeps looking after the real fans!
