Essendon Football Club wishes to congratulate champion full forward Matthew Lloyd and his wife Lisa, on the birth of their first son, Jacob Matthew Lloyd.

Jacob, a brother toJaeda, 5, and Kira, 2, was born at 5:10pm on Tuesday afternoon.

“Lisa is doing really well and we’re all very excited,” Lloyd said.

The new baby Bomber weighed in at a healthy 10 pound 3 ounces and has already been signed up to the James Hird Academy.

“At that size, he could well be the player for Fletch to hand the baton over to in 18 years.” Lloyd joked.

The Club also wishes to congratulate Essendon premiership defender Dean Solomon on the arrival of his first son, Lenny Solomon last week.
