Second room opened for 84/85 celebration
Following the overwhelming response to Essendon’s 1984/85 Back-to-Back Premiership Celebration Dinner, the Club now intends to stage a secondary function in the River Room opposite the Palladium. The functions will be staged concurrently on Saturday 4 July at Crown and will enable more Essendon supporters to be a part of a most memorable evening.
Following the overwhelming response to Essendon’s 1984/85 Back-to-Back Premiership Celebration Dinner, the Club now intends to stage a secondary function in the River Room opposite the Palladium.
The functions will be staged concurrently on Saturday 4 July at Crown and will enable more Essendon supporters to be a part of a most memorable evening.
The price point for the secondary function will be reduced to $130.
It includes a three-course meal, beer, wine and soft drink. The function will take a video feed from the Palladium so those in attendance can keep track of events as they unfold.
The club will also endeavour to bring some members of the 1984/85 Premiership sides into the River Room during the course of the night.

Numbers are limited in the River Room so we urge those interested to contact the Club as soon as possible. When we confirm the function will be proceeding, we will deduct payment from your credit card. Should it not proceed, not payment will be processed.
Essendon has kick-started the second half of their season with a convincing win over Melbourne in the Clash for Cancer at Etihad stadium tonight. Angus Monfries said the Bombers were relieved to get their record back to six and six ahead of what looms to be an exciting tussle with Carlton next Friday.
