Essendon supporters didn’t see a lot of Kepler Bradley in 2004 but what they did see they liked. Many see Bradley as a Dustin Fletcher-type – tall, gangly but with plenty of talent. Most felt Bradley needed to mature physically to become a more regular senior player.

What the fans had to say:

""Did quite well in the small number of opportunities he was given. I think he will do well for us in the future,"" Joan Hill.

""Showed glimpses of promise throughout the years but seemed, on occasion, overcome with first year jitters. Looks to be in the same mould as Dustin Fletcher, and will hopefully develop into that sort of player in the near future,"" Sonia Salera.

""Shows potential and should be a very good player. Obviously needs to build up his body strength but who wouldn't want to be in his position now! I am sure he will grasp the opportunity,"" Graeme Knight.

""A very promising young player who showed enough to suggest with further development and experience will be a top player for many years,"" Harry Goldsmith.

""I believe that Kepler is a real player of the future at Essendon, given further chances over the next 2 years I think we will see him pay big dividends for the club,"" Michael Tattersall.

""Essendon had the choice of Kepler Bradley or Kane Tenace in the draft. Although Kepler shows some promise, clearly the best decision would have been to draft Tenace. This obviously provides Kepler with the motivation to be better,"" David Whiting.

""Really needs to step up next year and try prove himself as a player so that he can gain a regular spot on the team,"" David Famularo.

""Good, young player with loads of potential. He is still growing and filling out. With the right training and development will make an invaluable Bomber,"" Julie Quirk.
